The Trinity Summer Academy is open for Trinity and non-Trinity students. Students will be grouped by ages and/or levels when necessary.  Each class is offered Monday through Thursday.  No classes meet on Fridays.  

Please note that a $200 non-refundable deposit must accompany every enrollment form. This deposit will be applied to the tuition.  *Also, classes requiring special materials will be charged an extra $30.00 fee at the time of enrollment. Those classes are *noted.

Program Descriptions:

Early Childhood   

For students in Pre-School-1.

Maximum enrollment is ten students.

Description:  Discover the world of learning in this Early Childhood class. Included are a variety of skills, activities and outdoor adventure. Please bring a sack lunch daily.

 

Intensive reading clinic

For students in grades 1-8.

Maximum enrollment is four students in each level.

Description: Alphabetic Phonics and other multi-sensory reading programs designed to improve performance.

 

Intensive math clinic

For students in grades 1-8.

Maximum enrollment is four students in each level.

Description: The course includes methods designed to improve math vocabulary, computation, general knowledge, and story problems solutions.  Hands on Equations and multi-sensory math programs will be used.

 

Writing Workshop

For students in grades 4-8.

Maximum enrollment is five students.

Description:  Work through the writing process and learn editing skills to produce a publication.  Students will be making their own books to share with others.

 

Multi-Sensory Keyboarding

For students in grades 3-5:        9:00—10:00 a.m.

For students in  grades 6-8:       10:15—11:15 a.m.

Maximum enrollment for each class is 10 students.

Description:  Students will learn basic and advanced keyboarding skills through a multi-sensory instructional program. They will also utilize Microsoft Office software.

 

The Joy of Crafting

For students in grades 1-4. 

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description: Students will enjoy using a variety of materials and other art supplies in this class.  Enjoy creating crafts you can share with the whole family and keep for a lifetime.  

 

Brainiac Enrichment Club

For students in grades 4-8.

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description: Build critical thinking skills by participating in brain teasers, puzzles, and building a few unique structures. It’s sure to make you a brainiac!

 

Wonders of Life Science

For students in grades 4-8.

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description: Learn all about scaly, furry, and interesting creatures.  Instruction, hands-on experiences, and field trips will be part of this exciting curriculum.

 

Civil War Book Club

For students in grades 4-6.

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description:  Join the Civil War Book Club: one for boys and one for girls. Open up a world of Civil War adventure through reading novels set in the 1850’s, discussions, related crafts and activities. You are sure to love this one! 

 

Archery and Endurance

For students in grades 5-8.

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description:  Learn all about archery by practicing safety rules and techniques that will help you hit the target.  Also, test your endurance by running challenging obstacle courses. This course will build your muscles!

 

Art Smart Workshop

For students in grades 5-8.

Maximum enrollment is eight students.

Description:  Enjoy cartooning, pencil drawing, and other art projects. The class will conclude with an art show where students sell their masterpieces. 

 

Individual tutoring

For students in grades 1-8.

Description:  Individual tutoring in reading/language and/or math. Tutoring sessions are one hour. Scheduling is done by the school office based on the availability of tutors and teachers. Call the school office.
