This has been a very successful year for

Trinity School.   

Below is a list of some of our accomplishments for

2005-2006, and the year is not over! 

  • Completed accreditation process with North Central Association Commission and Accreditation and School Improvement
  • Raised $115,000 for new playground
  • Reached 166% of Annual Campaign Goal (to date)
  • 207% increase in “new money” raised through the Annual Campaign (to date)
  • Received $50,000 unrestricted gift from out of state donor (not reflected in Annual Campaign figures above)
  • Received grants totaling $105,000 (to date)

  • Received $16,000 contribution to fund purchase and installation of Front Row sound field system in classrooms grades 1 – 8.

Trinity School…a great place to grow, learn and PLAY !!!

New Playground Amenities

  • Play structure with 54" decks, 3 slides, swing pods & 8 play components
  • 3 bay swing set with 4 belt swings and one tire swing

  • 3 level chin-up bar

Playground Location

Located south of William H. Haddock Center

Current inadequate play equipment will be removed and play area will extended from hill to fence, covering one half acre
*80 acre campus allows adequate room for growth

Playground Installation

Goal: Have play area completed by mid August in time for 2005-2006 school year.

Playground Financing

Contributions from Trinity patrons, former parents and alumni

The campaign, led by Mark and Jerry Gautreaux and Al and Susan Salomone, was kicked off on April 29. As of June 10, $90,000 of the $115,000 neededwasraised.

Pennies for Playground – Trinity student led campaign

The students of Trinity School were eager to contribute to the project. They held a Pennies for the Playground Campaign for two weeks and collected pocket change and raised over $1,000 for the playground. The first grade and second grade classes held bake salesand raised additional funds.

Partnerships with area corporations and businesses

Mr. Bob Holmes of Coppermark Bank agreed that the bank would match penny for penny all of the money raised by the students in their Pennies for Playground, up to $1,000. At the end of their two week campaign, students were selected to deliver the money to the bank to be counted.

Engraved brick sales

Brick pavers may be purchased for $165 and will be placed in a walkway near the playground. Donors may engrave the bricks for special significance.

In-kind contributions of materials and labor
