Admission Requirements

For admission to Trinity School, the following documents must be provided:

  1. A completed application for admission and payment of enrollment fee
  2. A completed medical release form
  3. A completed emergency contact form
  4. A copy of the child’s birth certificate or other legal verification of the child’s birth date.
  5. An immunization record that clearly indicates that the child’s immunizations are current and up-to-date. The State of Oklahoma requires evidence of adequate immunization records before any child may be enrolled in any school in Oklahoma. Immunizations required by state law are:
    • 5 doses – DPT Kindergarten – 8th grade
    • 4 doses – Oral Polio Kindergarten – 8th grade
    • 2 MMR Kindergarten – 8th grade
    • 3 doses – Hepatitis B PK – 5th grade, and 7th, and 8th
    • Chicken Pox Vaccine PK – 5th grade (or written notification that child has had the Chicken Pox)
  6. Complete transfer records from the previous school attended by the child (for children entering grades K-8)
  7. Records/results of any educational and/or psychological testing completed by the child.
  8. A completed Student Information Form completed by the student’s current teacher(s).

Please note that an enrollment contract will not be offered nor will enrollment be completed until all the above requirements are met.

Admission Priority

First priority is given to students re-enrolling in Trinity School and their siblings. Re-enrollment packets are sent to the families of current students in late January with the re-enrollment process ending in late February. Open enrollment follows this re-enrollment period during which priority of admission is on a first come, first serve basis guided by available space in each grade level.

Admission Age

According to Section 14 of the School Laws of Oklahoma, the following age requirements must be met for admission:
Pre-kindergarten – To be admitted to pre-kindergarten, a student must have turned 4 years of age on or before September 1.
Kindergarten – To be admitted to kindergarten, a student must have turned 5 years of age on or before September 1.
First Grade – To be admitted to 1st grade, a student must have turned 6 years of age on or before September 1.

While not specifically covered by the School Laws of Oklahoma, Trinity policy states that to be admitted to preschool a child must have turned 3 years of age by September 1 and be fully or close to fully toilet trained.
