Interested parents schedule a meeting with the Head of School and take a tour. Parents return the completed “Application Form” with the $300.00 application fee to the school. An appointment will be scheduled for the child to visit Trinity School. During this visit, the prospective student will attend classes, meet with teachers, and talk with the Head of School. Older students may be required to complete an “Applicant Questionnaire.” Parents may arrange to discuss tuition payment plans and financial aid with the Head of School during the child’s visit.
Parents arrange for the student’s current teachers to complete the “Student Information” forms. If behavior or self-management is an issue for the child, then the parents and a current teacher will complete and submit a child behavior checklist. If uncertainty persists for the school or the family, additional full day school visits may be arranged for the student.
Parents schedule an appointment with the school for placement testing. Students who have not had educational diagnostic testing within the past year are required to have such testing. Testing can be completed by Trinity staff or a private consultant. This testing assesses a student in the areas of reading, math, cognitive ability, and provides the school with information useful in helping the student find success at Trinity School. Diagnostic testing is administered at Trinity School throughout the school year by reservation through the school office.
Trinity will review all required documentation and test results and contact parents with a decision regarding acceptance.
