Q. My child is gifted intellectually, but has difficulties in reading and writing. Can Trinity adequately serve my child’s needs?
A. Absolutely! Trinity enrolls students who are average to above average in ability. While providing skill remediation in the areas of reading and writing, Trinity offers a multisensory curriculum, small class size, and attention to differing learning styles so that enrichment may be provided in those areas your child needs.
Q. Does Trinity offer athletics?
A. Yes. Although not a Catholic school, Trinity School is a member of the Catholic Grade School Athletic Association. This provides students in grades 2 – 8 opportunities to play interscholastic volleyball, soccer, basketball, and track. New this year for middle school boys – 7th and 8th grade will be offered football at nearby McGuiness School. Many of our students play softball/baseball with local leagues.
Q. Is financial aid available?
A. Yes. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Financial aid is based on need. An annual request for such assistance is required. Generally the request period is from March to July 1 of each school year. Those seeking assistance should contact the Head of School. All documents and information are kept in the strictest confidence. For more information, please ask about financial assistance.
Q. What about parent involvement?
A. Parent involvement is highly encouraged and very welcome. Our parent organization, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), is composed of anyone wanting to support the school: teachers, parents, grandparents, and special friends. PTO is responsible for organizing and providing volunteers to support a wide range of activities during the year from weeding flower beds to providing cookies for a school function. Parents are involved in countless ways every day in the life of the school. For more information, please refer to our PTO page above!
