Admissions Information
To be considered for admission to Trinity School, students must have a medically diagnosed learning difference or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) from a previous educational institution.
The admissions process at Trinity is designed to allow families and educators to work collaboratively to determine which students will benefit most from our unique academic and social programs. Once we receive a completed application, our admissions committee carefully reviews all testing, academic, medical, and behavioral records. Based on these materials and the resources we have available, we determine whether our programs can effectively meet your child’s needs.
We take a holistic approach and do not rely solely on documentation. The next step in the process is a three-day student shadow visit, during which your student is immersed in Trinity School's environment. Teachers and administrators provide observations and recommendations to the committee that inform the admission process. If the committee determines we have the resources to meet your child’s needs, they will be invited to shadow a current Trinity student in the same grade level. This experience allows us to observe your child in a classroom setting.
